Travel Information

1. From International Airports to Karlsruhe Central Station:

- EuroAirport Basel (Switzerland): Take Bus 50 to Railawy Station "Basel SBB". Take an ICE to Karlsruhe. One train every hour, travel time: 1 h 45.

- Frankfurt International Airport (recommended). From the airport, take the ICE to Karlsruhe. Eventually change in Mannheim. One train every hour, travel time: 1h.

- Stuttgart Airport: Take tram S3 to Stuttgart Central Station, then an IC to Karlsruhe. One train every 30 min., travel time: 1 h 30.

- Strasbourg (France): Take a regional train from the airport to Strasbourg Central Station. Take the OSB train from Strasbourg to Appenweier or Offenburg and from there a train to Karlsruhe. Sometimes there are fast TGV connections from Strasbourg to Karlsruhe. One train every hour, travel time: 1 h 30. Participants from France might also consider the TGV connection from Paris to Karlsruhe (travel time: 3 h).

2. From Karlsruhe Central Station:

- Take a Taxi to Hotel Watthalden (15 min., ca. 20 EUR)
- Take tram S1/S11 direction Bad Herrenalb/Ettlingen/Ittersbach. Leave the tram at station "Albgaubad". From there walk to Hotel Watthalden (ca. 400 m)
